Ebbene si, il mio quasi vecchio WebGine XL della Gericom, dopo quasi 4 anni è stato sostituito dal nuovo Acer. Ho optato per questo per 2 motivi: 1 la Dell per ora vende PC con linux solo in USA, 2 era in offerta al MediaWorld.
Il notebook è equipaggiato come un entry level a parte i 2GB di Ram e la nVidia Go 7300; appena acceso ho risposto NO alla licenza M$ Windows Vista e ho formattato senza indugio l’hd. Installando la Debian Etch (4.0) questo è il risultato di compatibilità dei miei primi test:
